Introduction

Welcome to my new blog! You may have read one of my posts on the developer forums, or you may have read one of my posts on the salesforce.com StackExchange (SFSE). If you've ever taken a look, you'll see that I dedicate a lot of time helping people with salesforce.com technology. I love helping people, and so far, I've dedicated over a year's worth of work, all gratis, doing what I love to do, into both of those forums.

For most of my early adulthood, I've spent time working in positions that that favored my tendency to help people, such as non-profit organizations, customer service jobs, technical support, and volunteer work. I'm also a big fan of technology, a computer nerd, if you will, and I spend a lot of time learning new technologies and programming languages. I've learned probably two dozen languages, mostly for the learning experience, even without any practical use.

While I've tremendously enjoyed working on the forums, I've decided that I'd take a slightly more pragmatic approach going into 2016 to help more people, and so I've decided to take the next step and start blogging. This blog won't contain much in the way of my personal life, but I hope you'll find some useful tips and tricks for resolving errors in your Visualforce, Lightning, and Apex Code, as well as any announcements for new and updated open source projects that I'll be hosting on GitHub in the next few months.

As always, I'd appreciate any comments, questions, or concerns that you have. I'll make every effort to try and get to any and all requests as soon as I can. Please see my contact page if you'd like to find ways to contact me, or leave comments here on my blog, and I'll try to get to them as soon as I can.
